We are deeply grateful to all who took action for Native American elder, Leonard Peltier, who has been incarcerated for nearly 50 years despite alarming concerns over the fairness of his trial.
He will FINALLY soon be leaving the Coleman United States Federal Prison in Florida, on February 18th, 2025 following the recent commutation to home confinement from President Biden.
We celebrate President Biden’s decision to grant Leonard Peltier clemency! We are thrilled that Leonard will be able to tend to his many critical health issues and can spend time healing with his family, loved ones and extended community on Turtle Mountain as soon as possible.
